Saint Peter's Lutheran Church Hosts Art Show

of Patron Saints of Those Most Affected on 9/11

 Saint Peter’s Lutheran Church, Manhattan (ELCA), hosts an art show paying tribute to the patron   saints of those most affected on 9/11. Sculptures of St. Florian, the patron saint of firefighters; St. Michael, the patron saint of police officers, St. Joseph, the patron saint of workers; and Mary Magdalene, the first to witness the empty tomb on Easter, are displayed. Episcopal artist and sculptor John Collier of Dallas created the artwork, which will find a permanent home at St. Joseph’s Chapel at St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church near Ground Zero.
