LDRNY is pleased to make turkey gift certificates available to food programs and casework agencies again this season.  Hunger continues to be a painful lingering result of September 11.  The Unmet Needs Roundtable donors, including LDRNY, routinely give food vouchers to families still feeling the economic and emotional affects of the disaster.  Food pantries and soup kitchens throughout the city continue to offer meals to hundreds of clients each week, despite increased demand and long lines.  We are deeply grateful for our partners’ ministry to the needs of their guests and clients, and offered almost 600 turkey gift certificates to the following agencies:

Epiphany Lutheran Church

Fordham Lutheran Food Pantry

New Hope for All Saints

Project LIFE (Lutheran Social Services)

The Salvation Army- WTC Program

Trinity, Lower East Side

Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church
