8:30 to 10:30 a.m., Dr. David Benke, president of LDRNY, and president of the Atlantic District, Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, will be at the LDRNY Comfort & Renew Center for prayers.

8:30 a.m., Atonement, Saugerties, the church bells will be rung three times. Prayers during the morning and scripture readings. Pastor Schreiber

10:00 a.m., Prayer Service of Remembrance, St. Paul's, Narrowsburg, Pr. Phyllis Haynes

12:30-5 p.m., Interfaith Dialogue, "Religion-Related Violence and Resources for Healing from Faith Communities," James Chapel of Union Theological Seminary, 121st and Broadway, featuring the Rev. 5 p.m., Interfaith Service of Remembrance and Reconciliation, St. John's, Brooklyn (155 Milton St.). Guest preacher will be the Rev. Dr. Norman, J. Kansfield, president and professor of theology at the New Brunswick Theological Seminary (RCA).  Pastor Tom Peterson

5:30 p.m., St. David’s, Massapequa Park, Commemoration and Service of Hope for Healing and Reconciliation, Pastor Marianne Tomecek

6 p.m., Prayers for the City, Cathedral of St. John the Divine, ecumenical memorial vespers. Bishop Stephen Bouman will offer the meditation. The Right Rev. Mark Sisk, the Very Reverend Dr. James A. Kowalski, and Bishop Bouman will officiate.
