to be prepared for all types of change

This has proven to be a very busy week for Lutheran Disaster Response of New York. The week began with a warning from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security about increased terror targets in New York City. One of the targets, the Citigroup Building, is home to Saint Peter’s Lutheran Church (ELCA).

In addition, the arrival of the season’s first hurricane, Hurricane Alex on the Atlantic Coast, reminds us all of the need to be prepared for all types of emergencies.
