LDRNY's John Scibilia was recently elected vice president of the NYC chapter of Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster. LDRNY is an active member of VOAD, which coordinates planning efforts by many voluntary organizations responding to disaster. This cooperative effort has proven to be the most effective way for a wide variety of volunteers and organizations to work together in a crisis. John served as treasurer for two years and is pleased to take on a new role in this distinguished agency.
